MechWar

Run a mercenary company through a war that pays too well to end.
Three factions are tearing a continent apart: the Rebels, the Confederacy and the Empire. You command a young private military company. Take contracts, lead a squad of up to five mechs into battle, and decide whose side you'll be on when the war is over.
| 5 mechs in your squad |
9 chassis to field |
3 factions, 3 endings |

The fight
- Isometric turn-based battles with elevation, cover and fog of war.
- Hand-built and generated maps: a convoy crossing a river bridge, a fortified line, a city block, a desert canyon.
- Everything breaks. Buildings, bridges and substations go down. Blow the bridge before the column crosses.
- Heat is the price of firepower. A full alpha strike can shut down your own mech.
- Pilots outlive their machines. Climb out of a wreck and steal an enemy mech.
- Support on call: a jet strafes the column, artillery shells a grid square, smoke lets you close in unseen.
- Varied contracts: convoy ambushes, holding a position, hunting an artillery battery, capturing control points, taking out an enemy commander.
The campaign
- A living front map. Your victories move the frontline and shift the balance between factions.
- Pilots with a history. They level up, get wounded and die for good. Those who covered each other become partners.
- Old scores. Enemy pilots you shot down can return as aces.
- Consequences. A company that levels civilian homes is remembered, and it shows in the epilogue.
- Three faction endings, and a New Game+ that uncovers who is really keeping the war going.
The hangar
- Dozens of weapons and systems, upgrades and paint schemes.
- Unique faction machines alongside the standard chassis.
- Your own base in one of the map's sectors.
